Overall, I cannot say that it was bad but I was not satisfied after watching it.

The movie lacks many things and it could have been done better if the screenplay was good. The main message that the movie conveys is that a man is ready to break any limits or go to any extent to protect his family. The character was poorly developed and has no effect on the audience. A lot of CGI has been used and at some point I felt that there was excess use of Visual Effects. I didn’t like the negative character – Kores Botha, an international terrorist. On the other hand, Neve Campbell also did a good job.
I really loved the way he portrayed the character (No humour at all). You all know about his muscular body making him the best suitable for the action thriller film. He is married to Sarah Sawyer and has two kids, Ben and Xia, who gets stuck in The Pearl. Produced by Legendary Pictures, Seven Bucks Productions and FlynnPictureCo., the film stars Dwayne Johnson in the lead role, Neve Campbell, Chin Han, Roland Mller, Noah Taylor, Byron Mann, Pablo Schreiber, and Hannah Quinlivan. Now about Dwayne Johnson: He plays the role of a former FBI Hostage Rescue Leader (Will Sawyer) who lost his leg in a bomb blast a few years earlier and presently assesses security for skyscrapers. Skyscraper is a 2018 American action thriller film written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. But anyway it is really good to see him back with another action thriller.
For example, there is a scene where he accidentally drops off the building and what follows is the same as in all the movies : he somehow manages to get hold of something….then he drops it and holds it with his other hand….finally climbs up (Most of the scenes are predictable). It’s like you could easily predict what’s gonna happen next. for me, the movie was nothing more than a 100 minute stunt scene. Dwayne Johnson alone couldn’t save the movie due to the cliche screenplay. To be honest, Skyscraper is a disappointment.
